The Aerotech Group, South Australia’s largest privately owned aviation operator, has secured a fleet order of GPMS International’s Foresight MX HUMS (health and usage monitoring system) for all its UH-60 Black Hawk aircraft.

By joining one of VAI’s new industry advisory councils, formerly known as HAI working groups, VAI members can contribute their expertise on vital industry topics and serve as leaders within the vertical aviation community.

This FAA airworthiness directive (AD) requires inspecting certain part-numbered flex-plate assemblies and yokes, including each flex-plate bolt, and depending on the results, replacing any affected part with an airworthy part. The AD, which takes effect Oct. 31, 2024, also lays out requirements for removing certain yokes from service after a set number of hours or years.
