VAI Daily May. 9, 2025 FAA issues bulletin about synthetic blended fuels The FAA has issued a revised special airworthiness information bulletin that advises operators and other parties that jet fuels made from an ASTM International Standard D7566–approved list of synthetic blending components are acceptable for use in aircraft and engines certificated for operation with D1655 Jet A or Jet A-1 fuel if the D7566 fuels are reidentified as D1655 fuels.
