The FAA is accepting comments through Oct. 20 on this proposed airworthiness directive (AD). It would require inspecting for damaged hoist hooks and hook nuts and replacing them, if necessary.

Final FAA AD: MD Helicopters 369 series, 500N, and 600N

This FAA airworthiness directive (AD), which takes effect Oct. 10, requires repetitive inspections of certain tail-rotor pedal support brackets for cracks and replacing or refinishing the bracket, if necessary. The AD also prohibits the installation of certain brackets.
