VAI Daily May. 8, 2025 NTSB preliminary report: Bell 206L-4, Jersey City, New Jersey, Apr. 10, 2025 The US National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has released a preliminary report that notes the helicopter broke apart in midair before crashing into the Hudson River. Witnesses heard multiple “loud bangs” before the helicopter suddenly separated into three sections, according to the report.
