The FAA is seeking comments on this proposed airworthiness directive (AD) through Aug. 15. It would supersede AD 2024-09-02, issued May 21, 2024. The proposed AD would retain the actions of the existing AD while requiring the replacement of certain forward-float and aft-float assemblies within 24 months or during the next maintenance check.

Starting in July, the Omni Helicopters International subsidiary will use the two new Airbus helicopters to support Petrobras offshore operations from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.
