(CNN) – A helicopter crashed onto the roof of a seaside hotel Aug. 12 in Cairns, Queensland, Australia, resulting in the death of the pilot. Local authorities are working with charter operator Nautilus Aviation to investigate the unauthorized use of one of its helicopters.

Michigan government awards funds to expand drone capabilities
