VAI Daily Jan. 20, 2026 Eve targets 2027 for initial operations of eVTOL aircraft Eve Air Mobility is building six conforming electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) prototypes for its flight-testing campaign after the first flight of its uncrewed full-scale eVTOL prototype in December 2025 at parent company Embraer’s facility in São Paulo, Brazil. Eve anticipates type certification, initial deliveries, and entry-into-service in 2027. VAI Daily Jan. 20, 2026 New eVTOL aircraft designed for ultralight operations (VIDEO) (Fox News) – The single-seat Rictor X4 electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft uses a multirotor design with eight propellers spread across four carbon-fiber arms. The company says the aircraft is designed to fly legally without airworthiness certification or a pilot license under the FAA’s Part 103, which regulates ultralight aircraft in the United States.
