VAI Daily Jun. 2, 2025 Proposed FAA AD: Airbus Helicopters AS 332L2 and EC225 LP The FAA is seeking comments by Jul. 17 on this proposed airworthiness directive (AD), which would require replacing certain attachment bolts on the main gearbox suspension bar fittings, inspecting the removed bolts, and reporting the results to Airbus Helicopters. VAI Daily Jun. 2, 2025 Proposed FAA AD: Airbus Helicopters AS332 series and EC225 LP The FAA is accepting comments through Jul. 17 on this proposed airworthiness directive (AD), which would supplement AD 2024-10-13. The proposed AD would keep the existing requirements while removing some helicopters from applicability, adding an inspection of the inner surface of the fuel-filter bowls, and revising the tightening torque. It also prohibits installing affected upper-rail rollers, as specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency AD.
