The Texas-based air medical operator has obtained Level 3 Safety Management System (SMS) verification through the WYVERN Flight Leader program.

The OEM released an emergency alert service bulletin following a Jan. 2 H160 cruise flight in Brazil where the pilots felt significant vibrations before conducting a controlled water landing. The bulletin requires replacement of main-rotor pitch rod ends after a certain number of flight hours.
