VAI Daily Jun. 23, 2025 Proposed FAA AD: Airbus Helicopters AS350 B3, EC130 B4, and EC130 T2 The FAA is seeking comments by Aug. 4 on this proposed airworthiness directive (AD), which would supersede AD 2020-24-07. The new AD would keep the requirements of the existing AD while establishing an additional modification, which would constitute terminating action for repetitive inspections. The proposed AD would also expand the helicopter applicability; propose additional requirements for certain helicopters; and prohibit installing affected microswitches or an affected twist grip with an affected microswitch.
