Bristow, Beta to evaluate low-emissions aircraft in Norway

Norway‘s Civil Aviation Authority and Avinor, a wholly owned state limited company under the Norwegian Ministry of Transport and Communications, have signed an agreement with Bristow Norway AS and Beta Technologies to conduct demonstration flights establishing Norway as an international test arena for zero- and low-emission aviation. The agreement calls for Bristow Norway to conduct cargo flights without passengers using Beta‘s Alia CX300 conventional takeoff and landing aircraft.

FAA AD: Airbus Helicopters Deutschland EC135 P series, EC135 T series, EC635 T2+, and MBB BK 117

The FAA is seeking public comments by Apr. 21 on this airworthiness directive (AD), which would require inspecting certain switches on the warning units, and depending on the results, replacing or repairing the warning unit. It applies to the EC135 P1, P2, P2+, P3, T1, T2, and T3; EC135T2+/EC635 T2+; and MBB BK 117 C-2, D-2, and D-3 models.

Bell to host various events at VERTICON 2025
