Joby has announced the closing of the first $250 million in funding as part of a long-term partnership with the Japanese automaker.

In addition to highlighting achievements from last year, the Airbus Foundation announced the appointment of the Gates Foundation’s Valerie Nkamgang Bemo and Carmen-Maja Rex, chief human resources director of Airbus, to its board of directors.

The company has appointed Atlanta Taylor as account director and Harry Bickerton as account manager for a new branch in London, England. The office will support TracPlus operators in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
