The new AD, which takes effect Jan. 12, 2026, retains existing actions while requiring the replacement of the upper-fin assembly with a modified upper-fin assembly, which constitutes a terminating action for repetitive inspections. VAI Daily Dec. 8, 2025 Final FAA AD: Airbus Helicopters AS 332L2 and EC225 LP This FAA airworthiness directive (AD), which retains the actions of AD 2020-06-12, issued Apr. 6, 2020, also requires the modification of the main-gearbox suspension bar, inspection of the torque, and corrective actions, if necessary. It takes effect Jan. 12, 2026. VAI Daily Dec. 8, 2025 Final FAA AD: Airbus AS350 B2/B3, AS355 N/NP, and EC130 B4 This FAA airworthiness directive (AD) becomes effective Jan. 12, 2026. It requires a one-time inspection of the cargo swing emergency-release control and, if necessary, corrective action. VAI Daily Dec. 8, 2025 Final FAA AD: Airbus Helicopters EC155 B and EC155 B1 This FAA airworthiness directive (AD), which takes effect Jan. 12, 2026, requires replacing the jettisonable windows and seals on the sliding doors and the fixed panels on the left-hand and right-hand sides. It also requires the installation of new labels. VAI Daily Dec. 5, 2025 Proposed FAA AD: Airbus Helicopters Deutschland MBB BK 117 D-3 This proposed FAA airworthiness directive (AD) was prompted by a determination that certain bolts installed on the horizontal control rods of the flight controls were not dye penetrant inspected for cracks during manufacturing and thus could lead to bolt failure.
