The Aero Club of Washington, D.C., has named the four primary congressional authors of the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024, which passed earlier this year, as the inaugural recipients of its new award.

The helicopters will bring the Louisiana State Police Air Support Unit fleet to nine Bell helicopters, the manufacturer announced at this week’s Airborne Public Safety Association Conference (APSCON 2024) in Houston, Texas.

The new helicopters will enhance the law enforcement capabilities of the South Florida police unit throughout the region.

The Otsego County Office of Emergency Services will train first responders with Air Methods Ascend’s Web-based Critical Care Review courses as part of its continuing education program.
