Revisit the Southeast Asia Aviation Safety Conference presentations

The first VAI Southeast Asia Aviation Safety Conference, held May 27–29, 2026, in Bali, Indonesia, brought together operators, regulators, manufacturers, safety professionals, and industry leaders from across the Asia-Pacific region—and it was a huge success!

Over two and a half days, attendees participated in plenary sessions, workshops, and panel discussions focused on leadership, safety culture, human factors, safety management systems, accident prevention, operational risk management, emerging technologies, and the future of aviation safety throughout Southeast Asia. The conference reinforced a simple but powerful message: Meaningful safety progress is achieved through collaboration, open communication, and a shared commitment to continuous improvement.

If you missed the event, stay tuned to VAI Weekly for information on next year’s conference, as well as other future international conferences and regional safety events. In the meantime, we invite you to enjoy the presentation materials provided by many of the Southeast Asia Aviation Safety Conference 2026 speakers, who have graciously agreed to share them. Topics among the 20 presentations available for exploring include crisis management after an accident, the kite-strike threat in Bali, VFR best practices, autorotations, crash dynamics, evolving safety and quality systems, and many  more.

VAI extends its sincere appreciation to all presenters and panelists at the conference who contributed to this year’s program.
