US House Aviation Subcommittee to host hearing on AAM Lawmakers to review AAM industry progress and ATC modernization needs. The US House of Representatives Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure’s Aviation Subcommittee will review the status of the advanced air mobility (AAM) sector during a Dec. 3 hearing on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. Chairman Troy E. Nehls (R-Tex.-22) set the session to assess industry progress, regulatory actions, and how federal and state partners are preparing for new aircraft operations. Members will examine FAA implementation of AAM provisions in the 2024 FAA Reauthorization Act and hear views on air traffic control (ATC) modernization. The discussion reflects continued congressional focus on the readiness of the US National Airspace System for the integration of emerging aviation technologies.
