Smith Myers, the award-winning UK cellular technology company, and Trakka Systems, a leading global provider of mission solutions and EO/IR imaging systems, have announced the successful integration of ARTEMIS Mobile Phone Detection & Location System (MPDLS) with the Trakka TM-100 Mapping System and TC line of EO/IR camera systems. This new capability enables cellular detection and location data from ARTEMIS to be seamlessly overlaid on the Trakka mission system map display. The system can then automatically slew the Trakka EO/IR camera to the exact latitude and longitude provided by ARTEMIS, significantly improving situational awareness, operational efficiency, and response speed during search-and-rescue (SAR), law enforcement, and disaster response missions. “This integration brings together two world-leading technologies to create a unified, operator-friendly solution,” said Andrew Munro, Managing Director of Smith Myers. “By automatically linking ARTEMIS outputs with the Trakka EO/IR sensor, we dramatically reduce cognitive workload and ensure crews can focus on decision-making rather than manual sensor management.
