ARAUCO to use Tabula’s FireVision for wildfire response in Chile

Tabula is pleased to announce that ARAUCO, a Chile-based forestry company recognised globally for its innovation and leadership, has selected FireVision to enhance the protection of its extensive forestry assets during wildfire events.

ARAUCO is deploying FireVision across both its rotary and fixed-wing aircraft, giving its aerial firefighting teams unprecedented visibility and coordination on the fireground. FireVision enables pilots and operations managers to view retardant drops in near real time, monitor aircraft movements, and share critical information instantly across the fleet.

“As wildfire conditions become increasingly complex, situational awareness is essential,” said Ramon Figueroa, Deputy Manager of Fire Protection.

“FireVision equips ARAUCO’s aerial teams with the tools to see what’s happening as it unfolds, make informed decisions faster, and coordinate their response with greater confidence.”

The adoption of FireVision reinforces ARAUCO’s commitment to innovation, environmental stewardship, and the long-term protection of its forestry resources. The solution provides a connected, data-driven picture of fireground activity, supporting safer, more efficient aerial operations.

“We’re excited to work alongside ARAUCO as they integrate FireVision into their firefighting workflow,” said Michael Whittaker, Executive Chairman, Tabula. “Their scale, expertise and focus on operational excellence make them an ideal partner as we continue to advance the future of aerial wildfire management.”
