The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) has determined that the air tour helicopter likely entered the rotor wake of a preceding heavier EC120 shortly after departing Bankstown Airport (YSBK), which resulted in control difficulties, an uncontrolled descent, a low rotor-speed warning, and a forced landing.
