VAI Daily Apr. 4, 2025 Final FAA AD: Airbus AS350 series, AS355 series, and EC130 series This FAA airworthiness directive (AD) requires repeated inspections of the main-gearbox bevel wheel and magnetic plug for particles and prohibits installing an affected main gearbox unless specific European Union Aviation Safety Agency requirements are met. The FAA AD applies to the AS350B, B1, B2, B3, BA, and D; AS355 E, F, F1, F2, N, and NP; and the EC130 B4 and T2. It takes effect May 9, 2025.
