HAI’s Sep. 17, 2020, weekly HAI@Work webinar topic was “If You Could See What We Have Seen: Accident Investigators’ Perspectives.” Joining HAI President and CEO James Viola was a team of senior accident investigators: Chris Lowenstein, senior manager of fleet safety at Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin Company; Clint Johnson, chief, Alaska Region, National Transportation Safety Board; and Matthew Rigsby, air safety investigator, FAA Office of Accident Investigation and Prevention. During their presentation, they gave tips on how to prevent recurring accidents such as the adage, “Train like you fly, and fly like you train.”
