Proposed FAA AD: Airbus Helicopters H160-B

The FAA is seeking comments by Apr. 13 on this proposed airworthiness directive (AD), which would require removing the jettisonable window and, depending on the results, replacing the locking fingers; inspecting and replacing any missing retaining rings; and inspecting the left-hand and right-hand side emergency handle latch covers and replacing the covers or reinstalling airworthy covers. It would also require performing repetitive lubrication of the locking fingers installed on the window’s jettisonable system and repetitive operational tests of the window’s jettisonable system after each lubrication.
