VAI, Modern Skies Coalition back US House plan to modernize ATC system

Warning that the US air traffic control (ATC) system can no longer run on outdated technology and short staffing, VAI joined a coalition of aviation leaders endorsing the US House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee’s new ATC modernization plan. The Modern Skies Coalition applauds the committee’s push to invest in upgraded systems, infrastructure, and staffing, calling it an essential step toward securing the future of US aviation. The coalition is urging swift passage of the provisions and pledging to continue working with Congress to strengthen and accelerate reforms.
