VAI Daily Mar. 20, 2026 Final FAA AD: Bell Textron Canada Bell 429 This FAA airworthiness directive (AD), which takes effect Apr. 24, requires inspecting the installation of the lockwire on the stability and control augmentation system (SCAS) actuator jam nut and, if the lockwire is incorrectly installed, removing it and installing a new lockwire correctly. The AD also prohibits the installation of an affected SCAS actuator assembly without first meeting certain requirements.
