FAA workforce development grant applications due Jun. 22

The FAA is accepting applications through Jun. 22 for its Aviation Workforce Development Grants program supporting aircraft pilots, unmanned aircraft system operators, and aviation maintenance technical workers. The grants help strengthen the aviation workforce pipeline and support training opportunities for the next generation of aviation professionals. Note: The application website will be unavailable Jun. 20 through midday Jun. 22, so early applications are encouraged.

Agreement opens UAS test corridor on US East Coast

(EINPresswire) – An agreement has been formalized to create a test and evaluation corridor on the US East Coast for the development of uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) and automated advanced air mobility technologies. Various officials, including those representing US Transportation Command, the National Aerospace Research & Technology Park, and the Atlantic County (New Jersey) Economic Alliance, signed the agreement.

NATA 2026 Certified Aircraft Deicing Workshop coming in August

The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) event, to be held Aug. 18–19 in Watkins, Colorado, is designed for line service technicians and managers, operations managers, or any personnel responsible for making sure aircraft are dispatched free and clear of all frozen contaminants. The workshop will cover topics including fluid handling and testing, truck and boom operations, communications, holdover times, and application techniques.
