(Associated Press) – While businesses that use electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft for tasks such as food delivery are growing quickly with support from the Chinese government, it has not all been smooth skies for eVTOL aircraft manufacturers in the country. Challenges include battery limitations, airspace management, and accidents.

(The Nation) – The Thailand Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) dispatched a Kamov Ka-32 and a rescue team Nov. 25 to assist with flooding response operations in Hat Yai, Songkhla.

The helicopter dealership acquired, reregistered, and shipped a 2019 Airbus H125 with 250 flight hours from Tajikistan for South Island, New Zealand–based Heli Support.

The FAA is requesting comments on this proposed airworthiness directive (AD) by Jan. 9, 2026. It would supersede AD 2025-06-04, issued Apr. 2, 2025. The new AD would retain existing actions while revising the interval compliance times.

This FAA airworthiness directive, which takes effect Dec. 30, will supersede AD 2021-26-07, issued Dec. 23, 2021. The new AD would retain the actions of the existing AD while adding a requirement to modify the link of the tail-rotor hub body. The new AD also requires inspections of the red paint line added during the modification for alignment.

(China eVTOL News) – Wanfeng Auto Holding Group announced that the Volocopter VoloXpro electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft received a special flight permit Nov. 19 from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).

(New Straits Times) – The Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department placed its air unit on full standby Nov. 24 to conduct aerial surveys and deliver supplies to areas cut off by flooding.

Air Methods has extended its partnership with Temple Health to continue operating Temple MedFlight from St. Mary Medical Center in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
