US lawmakers seek to ban nonessential helicopters in NYC

(AIN) – US Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY-12) has introduced a bill with Reps. Rob Menendez (D-NJ-08) and Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY-11) that would prohibit nonessential helicopters from operating within 20 miles of the Statue of Liberty in New York City (NYC).
