(TRT Afrika) – An official report notes that adverse weather conditions led to the Aug. 6 crash of a helicopter in the Ashanti region, which resulted in the deaths of eight people, including senior government officials. Investigators noted the aircraft’s lack of a terrain awareness and warning system and gaps in aviation infrastructure as contributing factors.

(AIN) – Advanced Air Mobility Group (AAMG) plans to place an order for hybrid-electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft from Czech Republic–based Zuri as part of the investment.

(Defence Review Asia) – Bell Textron refurbished the helicopter, including upgrading its avionics and fuel system, at its service center in Singapore.

Robinson Helicopter, the Torrance Police Officers Association, and the Torrance Police Foundation have reached an agreement that will fund a Santa float event into the future. This year, the float will start its tour through the community Nov. 30 from Robinson’s facilities at Zamperini Field (KTOA).
