Helicopter
Operators

Dues range from $375 to $3,250 depending on number of aircraft

Individuals or companies who own/operate helicopters as a business tool, for personal use, or in public service for a local, state, or federal agency or entity. Only a principal owner, an officer, or an employee of a Helicopter Operator member shall be eligible to serve on the Board of Directors. Membership benefits extend to all company employees.

Unmanned Aircraft
Systems Operators

Dues range from $55 to $95 depending on type of operation

Operators, whether individuals or companies, of one or more unmanned aircraft systems who do not also operate helicopters. Membership benefits extend to all company employees.

Manufacturers/
Suppliers

Dues range from $325 to $13,500 depending on annual gross revenue

Organizations that provide products, supplies, and services to the vertical aviation industry or that lease helicopters rather than operate them. Membership benefits extend to all company employees.

Pilots and Mechanics/
Engineers

Dues are $95

Licensed pilots or mechanics/engineers in the vertical flight industry.

Students

Introductory rate: $95 for the first year, with the second year of membership FREE*

*Renews annually at $95/year after the introductory period.

Individuals who believe in VAI’s mission and wish to contribute to the industry but don’t fit the requirements of another membership category.
